If It’s This Hot Now, What’s It Going To Be Like The First Week Of August

The day started nicely enough.  We went to a Lavender Farm to catch a final bloom.  Bipolar or not, the smell is immediately a reset.  Then I fed an Alpaca by hand.  After that, it was an Artisan’s Fest.  Had real New York State Fair vibes.  Had a chicken literally eat off of the top of my shoes.  Maybe that’s why the emu hissed at me behind the Umbrella Factory.  Then over to Galilee.  If I’m on Cape Cod, I’ll buy my saltwater taffy there but today I found a spot for when we don’t have time to make the full trip.  Great day mentally freeing wise.

Tomorrow, some folks will be celebrating Pioneer Day.  Yes, it is the anniversary of the Mormons showing up in the Salt Lake area.  Say what you want about our Mormon friends but they’re a lot more like us Catholics than many would like to admit.  That especially holds true privately if you know what 68% of us mean.

Monday July 24th: Last week in the Beacon, a racist outed herself.  This week, I argue why that’s a good thing.  This is why I like it when “Let’s Go Brandon” stuff gets sold.

Tuesday July 25th: Are Bonnet Shores Club members having a good time??  Do they boast about it as much as they used to??  Let’s ask one.

Wednesday July 26th: A guy in Texas wants to sponsor the 10 Commandments in schools.  Is he creepy or just confused??  Does it really matter??

Thursday July 27th: Did you all forget Myles Cosgrove existed??  We didn’t.  Let’s see what his records say about him.

Friday July 28th: is Sen. Ciccone paying attention to Norfolk, Nebraska??  Are anti-choice types in the Rhode Island Assembly paying attention to Sen. Ciccone??  Maybe we need to hold up signs or something.

Please be aware, as we discovered many times, that this is only a schedule and real events can happen.  This week expect follow-ups and updates along the way.  Everything gets written.  Not everything gets released.
