Would You Like To Lend A Hand??

Some of you asked me to simplify this page. I listened to my audience so I did. If you want to contribute a couple of dollars for public records request purposes, $20 to sponsor the next Art on Somewhere project (Could Groton, CT be next??), or snack money while I’m writing the THIRD “extended writing project”, or any other contribution you want to make not intended to help a politician get elected, just use the following. Yes, many you said, “I trust you Bobby, but I prefer Apps over sites. We’d rather just have the Apps”. Like I said, I listen.

(In case you’re wondering, I’ve started both 3rd books. One in case you like the first two so much that’s the way I should keep things. One is about mental illness and addiction just in case how people like me manage 24 hours at a time with all the noises in our heads and still get things done matters to you.)

I am blessed that my wife and I can pay our bills.  Yeah, sometimes a client is late but it’s still not a big deal.  Is it the money I was making in 2007 and 2008??  Hell no.  My wife wants that back so another site is already up, I’m doing more contract writing, and other projects are seeking funding.

In the meantime, I want to give you the opportunity to take small but important action.  Yes, you can go express outrage on social media.  Or you take advantage of the opportunity offered here.

Remember how we used to do Art on Utica?? Little $10 contributions in exchange for business card ads so everyone can get involved. Along those lines, there is something else you can get involved in.

You may not have a lot of time. You may not have a lot of cash. However, APRAs/FOIAs/FOILs all cost money. The Norfolk, Nebraska filing has cost $507 so far. You can donate a little money here and know that you did something. (Don’t fear, if you really like these efforts, you’ll be able to contribute to the PAC here as well soon.  Yeah, I said it. In fact, don’t tell anybody, but there might be PACs in 4 states by the time I’m done.)

Now you know you’re in the game now matter how things are going, no matter how many kids you have, no matter how many jobs you work, no matter how many folks you’re taking care of. Keep it small and take care of you first. A little bit goes a long way.
