Happy Decoration Day. Long before this day was about everybody, it was about those who had died keeping our Republic together. Red state people were a problem then; they are now. Of course, in those day, we had not moved all Holidays to Mondays yet so May 30th was the date to decorate the graves of the fallen every year. Makes you wonder what rituals we will observe after Civil War 2.0??
Monday May 31st: People who had clean/sober time together before the pandemic are now reporting that they only have 2 or 3 months. A parent’s relapse must affect their kids. Are we paying attention??
Tuesday June 1st: A miscarriage is a scary and tremendously painful event. In Pennsylvania, they do not think that is good enough. On behalf of women, we must retaliate.
Wednesday June 2nd: Dan McKee is confused about many things. One of them is how expensive his relationship with Mayor Polisena is going to turn out to be. I have another example this week.
Thursday June 3rd: US Bishops plan to take a vote on Catholic politicians receiving Communion. This is what happens when you let an organization get away with pedophilia to the degree it has. They feel emboldened now.
Friday June 4th: We need some happiness. We need artists. We need them on the streets. You know where this is going.
Please be aware, as we discovered many times, that this is only a schedule and real events can happen. This week expect follow-ups and updates along the way. Everything gets written. Not everything gets released.
