So weird yesterday to be standing in a Winn-Dixie listening to Christmas music while wearing shorts. I could get used to some of this. Yes, I am living the newly published author’s life of way more rags than riches at the moment but I wouldn’t trade it for anything. Then, if I play it right, I get to experience the cold, provided we don’t elect Republicans and turn the temperature of the planet up another 11 degrees, when I want to. Yeah, it’s annoying at times but I wouldn’t want anything else.
Gotta love all the spots on social media showing Trump getting booed yesterday. He wouldn’t get out of the car. However, what do you think you saw if you watched Fox News this morning?? It is definitely an alternate reality.
Members of the Baha’i faith are having a heck of a day. Baha’u’llah was born on this date making it their Christmas. Once again, a God promised and delivered. It’s pretty much a time to take the day off and live in gratitude.
Monday November 27th: Lots of folks filing APRAs in Johnston are getting annoyed. Many things are supposedly “not discussed”. It’s not the Clerk’s fault – he’s a cool guy. Time to let the Mayor know we’re not fooled.
Tuesday November 28th: Texas businesses, according to them, have lost $15 billion since the abortion ban took effect. Is that what they were promised?? How does the AG feel about enforcing the ban knowing that it’s screwing some of his friends??
Wednesday November 29th: Members of Congress serving Montana sometimes get caught up with creepy groups. Sometimes it’s unintentional, sometimes it’s very intentional. Then they do and serve in DC like nothing happened. If we don’t tell them we don’t like the creepiness, how are they supposed to know how we feel??
Thursday November 30th: Sometimes the first domino you push over is a weird one. That’s going to happen today. Didn’t know a voting FOIA could be weird.
Friday December 1st: If banning abortion costs a state $15 billion, what does setting up “white courts” cost?? Shouldn’t local businesses know it might come with a cost?? Would these businesses support Republicans when they figure out the social costs outweigh the tax breaks??
