Honorable Senator Paolino:
I hope this message finds you well. With any luck, COVID has stayed away from your team and the ones you love. I thought you ran a solid campaign in 2020.
The other day, another Senator said a GOP male member of the Rhode Island State Senate was not wearing a mask. Let’s see: there’s only 5 of you. Only 3 are male. One is the Leader. The other one had COVID. See where this is going??
Can I remind you of something?? This is not Mississippi. If you want to go practice illiterate white trash Q Anon nonsense, move there and see if you can win a seat. You may have to change your accent but if you work hard, you have a shot. We expect you to live up to a certain intellectual standard here in Rhode Island.
I appreciate your Fiscal Conservatism. We need more of that. However, there is a reason that there are only 5 of you. That might be less since thanks to Trump, your Party is losing 25,000 voters nationwide per week. How are any of you supposed to get elected if that trend hits RI??
Why do I care about you?? In a perfect world of 38 State Senators, 28 would be Democrats. In the House, there would be 53 Democrats out of 75 members. That gives us 2/3rds for Super Majority votes plus a couple of byes in case someone must take a pass. You would go from 15 of 113 seats to 32 of 113 seats and with less mouths to feed, we would be happier. Do I have to remind you that the Rhode Island GOP has not elected anyone statewide or to a Federal seat in over a decade??
Instead, what we have on our side is a bunch of forced birth pigs with names like Ruggerio, DiPalma, and Polisena who hold Republican values. They literally steal from us while putting D’s in front of their names in order to win elections. I would rather deal with real Republicans any day of the week. When a Republican takes money from the NRA, whose members have threatened me, it is just doing business instead of the stab in the back it feels like when Ruggerio does it. (When you fraudulently join a Party, kinda like claiming you are a family man while stealing condoms to cheat on your wife with an employee, you do not get the Senator title. That person is just a pig.)
Same is true on choice. If a Republican takes money from a group that hates women and lies about what Christ actually said on the issue, Matthew 5:17 is clear, they are just being Republican. When Senator DiPalma tries to fund a group of people who defend pedophilia, the Knights of Columbus, via women’s health care, he has earned beyond creep status.
Have you ever escorted a woman into an abortion clinic?? There are switches and shields and sliding doors and alarms everywhere. Why?? Because of the people that the DiPalma’s and the Polisena’s of the world have enabled. Your Party worships a fake bigoted Christ carrying a gun. Due to the caricature, we can ignore you if we can outvote you. Actual betrayal by someone claiming to be one of us, especially of the black women who make our Party hum at the national level, see Georgia, is almost unforgivable.
I was diagnosed with Narcissistic Personality Disorder at age 5. Even though the symptoms subsided a great deal when I got sober, I still have a sadistic streak. I do get my jollies when I hurt an evil person. However, I have also learned that as much fun as that is, inner peace is more valuable. For that reason, those who do not believe in Roe v. Wade but come from my hometown of Warwick get lumped in with you. In order to undo the “hometown exemption”, someone pretty much must fly a Confederate Flag.
Sadly, the one solution regarding forced birth Democrat types who do not live in Warwick is expensive. We could reach out to the far fiscal Left of our Party to replace the forced birth pigs. Problem is those folks like to spend everybody’s cash. Do not get me wrong – here in Rhode Island they are great people. This makes them rather different than the Bernie supporter on the national level that almost renders the word asshole useless. Had Mark Penn let us do what we desired to the national types out in the streets of Manchester back in 2016, we would not be having these problems as Trump never would have happened. Oh well.
I would much rather leave you alone. We would outnumber you on social issue votes and hopefully find consensus with you on fiscal issues. Socially Liberal and Fiscally Conservative, with some blowing things up because it is fun, always works out best for everyone. Ever see the movie The Purge?? This summer is going to make that movie look like a Boy Scout sleepover including the smores minus the pedophilia for the forced birth crew. I would like to continue planning that via the free market.
Even if we make a mistake in all that, two things play in our favor. First, just as you have no one you can call at the national level for help, the forced birth types in my Party are in the same boat. No one wants to offend the women in my Party by helping them.
Secondly, because they are so offensive, just like the average Trump supporter, they are jury proof. Nobody will never lose a case to them. The only person in a worse position, thanks to his Pedophilia Advocacy, is Bishop Tobin. Anyone, especially after the remarks by the Vatican yesterday, could call their shot with him. Because I respect local law enforcement, I keep my actions within the bounds of the free market.
Therefore, it is in your interest to leave all culty and stupid behind. Now my social media feeds are filled with, “One of the Trumpists is running around RI without a mask – whaddya gonna do about it Bobby O??” I must keep my audience happy in lieu of my goals.
Just look at Rep. Morgan and others as an example. The other day she releases an important statement about municipal contract negotiating. Other Representatives who have made statements about hospital discharges are in the same boat. No one takes anything seriously because they previously went all Q Anon with the “They made up ballots and filled ‘em out then put the shred to others” debunked silliness. Outside of causing everyone to ignore their possibly useful statements on both issues, what did any of that nonsense get them?? Cults are something to avoid.
Another problem tangling up your message is hypocrisy mixed with grift. As long as you identify as a Trumpist, no one is going to want to hear your message that goes, “Hey, anti-choice Democrat so and so just put 18 family members on the state payroll, shouldn’t we care about that??” You will immediately be reminded that Trump spent over $300 million on golf and you were silent.
Maybe you should think of all the messages that Trump takes away from you. For instance, incest is off the table because Trump got lap dances from Vanky. Bribery is off the table because Trump got somebody to pay Kavanaugh’s debts. The list goes on and on and on.
Yeah, it is cool to be the tough guy with no mask. It is even more cool to be the untainted fiscal conservative who can keep our state on the right path. Our small businesses deserve an environment to thrive in. Most of our small businesses are involved in the tourism trade. Not wearing a mask and causing people not to visit makes the freaks cheer but causes those who provide opportunity to have to work harder than they did yesterday. Now multiply that by the pandemic. Please put a mask on, get the vaccine, and set an example.
