Yes, there are a lot of similarities to 2016. If someone is throwing away their vote in a blue or red state, leave them alone. In a purple, present what we’re up against. After we win, we can go chase down the Electoral College. Please remember that if you are a Christian Nationalist, you will defend yourself to the death because COVID and old age are making the math impossible. We shouldn’t blame them for wanting to hang on. We just have to go do our thing.
On a personal note, it’s just another spoiled day for me. I woke up sober. Hiked 12 miles. In the middle of that, I talked to some of my favorite dead people in a cemetery and saw some incredible water views. How many people get to live in Key West, Fall River, Westport, Tiverton, Newport, Utica, and maybe even East Greenwich or somewhere in the western part of the state in the same lifetime with part-time residence in Florida still on the horizon?? I owe my Higher Power a lot, so I will be helping folks this week.

Monday August 26th: There’s a candidate in a local race who voted as a Republican just 6 years ago. They also assaulted someone. It might have been a proper assault, but we have questions.
Tuesday August 27th: Trump’s engaging in some activities that we have to question as well. Not only is he celebrating with felons, he seems to be on different drugs this week. Probation has rules.
Wednesday August 28th: There are some folks who plan to Stop the Steal in Wisconsin. That’s the whole Republican plan this year, since they know, thanks to the math thing, they can’t win. We have to demonstrate what happens to stop the steal types if they interfere in the election.
Thursday August 29th: Of course, one of the ways is to just to grab voter info and grant applications. Mix the two the right way and a lot of revenue could be jeopardized. You want to lose that over a Trump supporter??
Friday August 30th: Has Speaker Johnson committed obstruction?? Well, of course he has, but in this case, regarding a dead person?? If we don’t call them out, nothing changes.
