Back To The Future

Please notice I made a change this week.  This is some old school Utica stuff.  The Schedule appears late on Monday.  Sometimes after the Monday Blog is posted.  Y’all seem to like it better that way.  Just like you seem to enjoy emailing me instead of commenting on the Blog.  The only page that gets more hits than Ode to Mr. Turtle is my contact page.  As long as you’re reading and making calls and talking to friends and knocking doors, we’re good.

This is the 30th anniversary of U2 playing in Yankee Stadium (I am so old).  It is also the 145th anniversary of the death of Brigham Young.  Wonder if State Senate candidate Mike Carreiro is a secret admirer??  (Yes, that’s a spoiler for this week.)  Just wonder where in the universe all these events cross over??

Monday August 29th: We know that Bishop Tobin is going to violate campaign finance law.  He already has.  The first question is how much evidence does RIBOE need??  The second question is does that help our case with the Division of Taxation??

Tuesday August 30th: Was the Open Meetings Law violated during the Pawtucket mess??  If we want to find out, we need to ask.  Let’s file a complaint.

Wednesday August 31st:  Remember when a Bishop in San Francisco tried to deny Communion to the Speaker??  Let’s put him in the spotlight.  My guess is he only likes the spotlight when he chooses the access point.

Thursday September 1st: The Indiana Attorney General is another forced birth pig creep.  If we are to defend women in his state, we have to show him actions have consequences.  It’s Thursday so you know what’s coming.

Friday September 2nd: The Rhode Island Democratic Party Chair wrote a check to a guy who wore black face on behalf of a forced birth pig.  I understand he was trying to play team ball.  We need to remind him that our team is bigger.

Please be aware, as we discovered many times, that this is only a schedule and real events can happen.  This week expect follow-ups and updates along the way.  Everything gets written.  Not everything gets released.
